FDA approves Artisan / Verisyse P-IOL

Advanced Medical Optics, Inc., and Ophtec USA, Inc., announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the Artisan/ Verisyse phakic intraocular lens (IOL) for use in patients with myopia, or nearsightedness.
