A volksmarch is a noncompetitive fun walk, and Wichita Skywalkers members are planning one on Dec. 9 to see the Christmas lights in College Hill.
The walk will follow a 5K or 10K route along College Hill streets, beginning at East Heights United Methodist Church, 4407 E. Douglas. The route will be suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. Children under 13 must be with an adult, and pets must be on a leash. Reflective garments are suggested.
Walkers may start any time between 5:30 and 7 p.m. and must finish by 9 p.m. Read more
