Why LASIK may be safer than contact lenses

So which is safer: LASIK surgery or wearing contact lenses? A recent survey suggests a large percentage of contact lens wearers don’t clean and disinfect their lenses properly. This increases the risk of vision-threatening eye infections, and may make LASIK a safer option than contact lenses in the long run.
